This workshop teaches how to deepen the awareness of your body and mind via practice of asana and relaxation and prepares you for self-practice at home. To beginners it shows what yoga is and how to listen to your own body as your best teacher of yoga as well of life. Those, who practice since years and teach, are taken farther into the yogic journey of the self exploration. The parts of the body, which we do not feel are our blockages - physical as well as mental - because our organism and mind are inseparable. Aware yoga practice is the most precious tool to bring inner awareness to each part of the body, as well as to brighten and transform our life.

DESCRIPTION OF THE COURSE
Intensive Yoga Weekend in Belgium conducted by Shivani (Beata), immerses the participant into the essence of Yoga, teaching both its aspects, philosophical as well as practical. During this Workshop, a student learns everything that is needed to maintain a regular self-practice independently.
On the workshop Shivani (Beata) uses an awareness that is often overlooked in other forms of Yoga and unique approach to teaching the foundations of Yoga Practice in the simplest way possible.
There are thousands of Yoga Asanas, but which of them are the most beneficial for our modern times?
This question is being answered on this Yoga Workshop. It is introducing the B.K.S. Iyengar style - as taught and evolved by unique Indian yoga master teacher Sharat Arora (Anand Sagar), founder of the Himalayan Iyengar Yoga Centre - as well as providing a working knowledge to become a self-practitioner. For those who practice since many years it is a deeper immersion into the practice. It is a study of Corrective, Rejuvenating - Energizing and Relaxing - Meditative postures.
Students with ailments are given specific Therapeutic Attention and Guidelines.
The Workshop provides a fundamental framework and inspires one to explore deeper within. The Workshop is Informative, Motivational and, above all, Experiential.
The daily program comprises 4 hours of Asanas Class, 2 hours of Meditation and Pranayama Relaxation. Additionally to these Yoga Practices, the Course contains Question & Answer Sessions concerning the Self-Practice and Yoga Philosophy.

Shivani (Beata) is a certified Himalayan Iyengar Yoga Centre Teacher. From an early age she was deeply interested in spiritual teachings and meditation. From 18 year old she started a self-study of the human psychology and eastern philosophy of life, including Taoists teachings, Zen and Yoga, from whatever materials were available to her. Her school years she spent most of the time doing sports like athletics as well as martial arts. That deep interest in the human body as well as the human consciousness made her to have a first contact with yoga practice in 2005, after which she continued her yoga studies in traditional B.K.S. Iyengar style in her home town Warsaw in Poland. In 2009 she went to India for an extensive yoga study with Indian Master Teacher Sharat Arora at the Himalayan Iyengar Yoga Centre to deepen her experience of the universal wisdom of spiritual practice and meditational silence. Since then she lives in India and the Himalayan Iyengar Yoga Centre became her home. During all this time she continued intensive self-practice and participated in all the most important courses conducted by the Yoga Master Teacher Sharat Arora. She also assisted him on numerous consequent intensive, teachers’ trainings, yoga therapy courses as well as many other regular yoga classes on all levels. Under his kind guidance each course was a very deep experience of awakening the body intelligence and creating the inner spaces. Since April 2011, accordingly to the Master Teacher Sharat Arora request, she started teaching yoga at the Himalayan Iyengar Yoga Centre as well as at the Himalaya Shanti Ashram in India and in the Summer time conducting International Yoga Workshops to share how fully aware and harmoniously practiced Yoga influences not only our body, but also create a deeper, full of acceptance relationship with the Inner Self as well as with all the Surrounding World.
