This mobile rack features a slot-free and tool-free installation design to quickly replace drives without opening the computer case or using tools. The TurboSwap MB171SP-1B features an on/off button and is equipped with a durable metal front flap for the best drive protection. The TurboSwap is equipped with our proven tray-less technology - no screws, tools or bays are required to insert or eject the drive. Simply insert the 3.5 SAS or SATA hard drive into the drive slot, close the front door and you can access the drive. When finished, open the flap to eject the drive. The all-metal front flap lock provides stable and smooth drive ejection and protects the installed drive. The open design and ventilation openings around the device provide maximum heat dissipation. It works perfectly with your computer's cooling system and keeps your drive cool even under heavy workload. The TurboSwap MB171SP-1B features an easily accessible drive power button that allows users to shut down the drive to reduce power consumption and drive usage or prevent hacker/virus attack. When a drive is fully inserted into the enclosure, the status LED starts to light and indicates that the drive is powered and access is possible.
