Designed for depth rather than volume.
Master Teacher Sharat Arora was born in 1953 and discovered yoga in 1978. He trained intensively, full-time, for seven years with Guruji BKS Iyengar at the Ramamani Iyengar Memorial Institute in Pune, assisting on all levels of Asana classes. More significant still to his development was his involvement in daily therapy sessions, serving countless patients — a fusion of experience and medical study that sharpened his unique Yoga therapy skills.
Living in a Buddhist community, he grew interested in meditation, particularly Vipassana, and was further inspired by the teachings of Jiddu Krishnamurthy and later HWL Poonja. His clear, precise instruction combined with a spiritual depth makes his teaching unique. He speaks French, German and English fluently.
The founder is available by prior arrangement to offer satsang or philosophical dialogue for residential groups.
